Terri Brownlee, MPH, RDN, LDN is director of nutrition and wellness for Bon Appétit Management Company. With over twenty-five years in the industry, Terri’s experience spans from private practice and corporate consulting to food service and nutrition education. With Bon Appétit, Terri directs strategic wellness programming for corporations, universities, museums, and specialty venues serving over 200 million meals annually in over 1000 cafes across thirty-three states. Starting as a regional dietitian in the early 2000’s Terri first focused on wellness education but has fostered the growth of wellness solutions to keep up with the ever growing and changing trends and guest expectations. Terri’s team provides subject matter expertise and functional support for all Bon Appétit locations including innovative solutions in menu transparency, food education and literacy, guest engagement, and plant-forward menuing. She manages a team of chefs and registered dietitians and launched Bon Appétit’s Plant-Forward Culinary Collaborative in 2019. Prior to joining Bon Appétit, Terri served as the nutrition director for Duke University's Diet & Fitness Center and Center for Living where she directed the comprehensive nutrition services, authored the Diet & Fitness Center cookbook, and served as the media contact for numerous magazine, internet, and television articles. Terri received a master’s of public health from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill’s Gilling’s School of Global Public Health. @TerriBrownlee
