Caper Raisin Sauce

This sweet, sour and salty raisin caper sauce is delicious with mushrooms, fish, or roasted vegetables. Find the recipe and printable recipe PDF below! 

 
 

Yield: 2 cups


Method

  1. Soak raisins in ¾ cup hot water for 10 minutes. 

  2. Place capers and raisins with water and vinegar in a blender and blend until smooth.

  3. Slowly add in oil to emulsify.

  4. Season as necessary. Add parsley.

Ingredients

1 cup capers, rinsed

1 cup golden raisins

1 Tbsp. sherry vinegar

¾ cup extra virgin olive oil

¼ cup parsley, minced
