Annette Graham '88
Dean of the School of Business and Management, The Culinary Institute of America; Hyde Park, NY
Annette Graham ’88, PhD is dean of the School of Business and Management at The Culinary Institute of America, a position to which she was named in June of 2016 after serving as associate dean for four years. Prior to joining the CIA, Annette served as a tenured faculty member and coordinator of the Food, Nutrition, and Hospitality Program at Ohio University (OU). During her time at OU she collaborated with colleagues on interdisciplinary scholarly projects, receiving internal and external funding. The focus of those projects included curriculum development and delivery; improvement of elementary school math and science education using food for active learning; and food security. She holds degrees from Morehead State University (BBA), The Culinary Institute of America (AOS), Purdue University (MS), and The Pennsylvania State University (PhD). At the CIA, Annette oversees the business management and hospitality curriculum, which includes the Innovation Kitchen in the Egg, where intrapreneurship students operate a fast casual restaurant.
